Tonight we decided to make some homemade chocolate chip cookies, while our pizza was in the oven. Yes, I know it is not the best diet... but we did it anyway! Today was a rainy day and we all wanted to do something fun as a family. Connor has had a rash, which we thought might be the chicken pox but he didn't have any other symptoms besides a rash... so probably not the chicken pox! In any case, he's been home from school for a couple days and needed something more constructive to do than watch, "Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs" for the millionth time. So SUPER dad to the rescue!!! Dave brings home the makings for homemade chocolate chip cookies!
I help by measuring out the ingredients ... and taking the pictures!
Dave works his magic on the dough, adding a touch of LOVE! :) (psst...it is the "secret" ingredient)
Then.....Connor waits.... FOREVER... so he thinks!
11 minutes later..........
COOKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COOKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COOKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YUMMMMMMMMM!!!!!
Connor enjoys one before bed time....so does mommy and daddy, but we ate ours faster than Connor (so no pictures). It was a great family project!
